Local processing for the main compression flow
When you use the public compression tool on this site, the selected image is processed locally in your browser during normal use. The product is intentionally designed so that compression does not depend on uploading your image to a remote compression server first.
What that means in plain language
- Your image file is not sent to a dedicated compression backend as part of the normal workflow.
- Your downloads are generated in the browser from that local processing.
- The site does not require account creation to use the current public workflow.
Standard website requests still exist
Like most websites, the static pages themselves may still be served through normal hosting infrastructure. That means a hosting provider may receive page request information such as IP address, user agent or request timing when a page loads. That is different from uploading the image itself for compression.
Cookies and tracking
The product direction is to keep tracking as light as possible. If analytics or ad integrations are added later, they should remain discreet and compatible with the product’s privacy-first positioning rather than turning the site into an aggressive ad surface.
Questions and updates
If the product evolves with saved presets, premium workspace tools or additional monetization layers, this page should evolve too so the privacy story stays honest, practical and easy to understand.
